MUKILTEO, Washington -- Allen Alvo, owner of Gallery Framers in Boca Raton, Fla., is the lucky recipient of Wizard International’s 3000th CMC placement. The second quarter order was placed by Adam Levy, an authorized Wizard distributor from Complete Framers Supply, in Ft. Lauderdale.

Alvo will receive a trip for two to Wizard’s headquarters in Mukilteo, Wash., just 15 miles north of Seattle. During his stay he and a guest will be treated to many northwest traditions, including a scenic harbor cruise through the Puget Sound to Tillicum Village located on Blake Island, Wash., which will host Wizard employees and industry guests for a special 3000th CMC celebration.

In 1990, Alvo opened Gallery Framers, a 1,500-sq. ft. custom frame shop. He started the business as a two-person operation. With limited personal framing experience, Alvo went in search of the most qualified and experienced framers in south Florida. Gallery Framers now employs a staff of five, with more than 30 years of combined industry experience, including one of the only CPFs in the area, according to Alvo. Over the past 12 years, Gallery Framers has experienced steady growth requiring Alvo to remodel the shop twice, doubling its original size to 3,000-sq. ft.
